That's the wrong approach - users should be allowed to opt-in to advertising if they want. They should not be forced to get rid of it. Microsoft's approach is to spam us with tons of ads for the privilege of using Windows. Thanks but no thanks! :thumbd:

Lol, if you say so. Let it all out, I guess..?

This is pretty much what I'm talking about. "spam us with tons of ads", a complete assumption, based on nothing, pulled out of your ..., ^^

Mrkvonic, you meant more of these? If Windows 8 sucks mega turbo levels, Microsoft has jumped the shark with its decision to allow ads to pollute Windows 8.1. o_O

They already did that long ago, they're running out of body parts. But like a good action movie, the bullets keep coming. TechNet killing was probably the stupidest move they've made in a while.

Yep, although with their monopoly, I'm sure they think they can do anything, even drink battery acid, and get away with hit....

The ads just look like something for MS to exploit while they tighten the screws down on their operating system.

MS sure seems to be alienating a lot of folks lately, at least those that keep up with this type of news. It's been one negative story right after the other.
