I've noticed over the past few days, that the updates are much larger than normal... easily noticed since I'm still on dialup.
    On Tuesday, I received v.1.1087... on Weds v1.1087 & v1.1088... and today,
    v1.1087 & 1.1089.
The updates are usually in the 150kb range, and over these past few days, they're all around 2.6MB. And they all include the 1.1087 update.

So, I'm wondering what's up? Does it have anything to do with the new release?
(I'm still using the 2.12.3 release version... on XP)

Are you using the trial version of NOD32?

No... as I said, it's the release version of 2.12.3. The latest release until 2.5 rolls out.

It's no big deal, but it's curious that the 1.1087 update keeps being downloaded, with the new updates.

On 2 different PCs, I'm running 2.12.3 and 2.50.9 beta. Only received the 1087 update once on each. The 1088 and 1089 updates came all by themselves and even on my lowly dialup, loaded very quickly...

The reason why I asked is because this is not normal behavior for the licensed version. You should be getting incremental updates in sizes about 100 kbs (and maybe even less).

I wonder if the larger updates have anything to do with NOD's Early Warning System?

IMO, no because the big 1087 update was also issued for 2.12.3 (which doesn't have the new component.)

Something is certainly odd regarding burf's updates. If it has been normal up until 1087 and now reloads 1087 all the time, something has went wrong. But as to what...I have no idea. :(

All I can say is....its not the program that is bugged. Its probably a deployment issue - possibly (rare) PC specific.

That explains why the file was bigger than usual. Thanks Marcos.

Edit: Any reason why there is a base update?

On my end nothing changed. The PC is fine... I haven't installed anything new, in fact, I haven't been online much, so I'm pretty sure it's not PC related.
It was just odd having 3 days in a row, those bigger updates.

And yes, as I said, each update was both the 1.1087 & the latest update, which were smaller than normal.
I guess I'll see what happens, when it updates to 2.5... whenever that happens ;)
