    Just discovered it and testing.
Fast seraches, tabbed results. Kinda weird, but I'm liking it. Will use it for a few days to see if it fits my need.
Here are screenshots of a search for "wilders".

It needs a bit of work, there were some common places I go to that I looked up and it couldn't find any results. But it looks to be pretty nice.

    Heard about this yesterday.
Interesting, but it needs some work.
Couldn't figure out the sometimes erroneous images next to search links.
    Per their FAQ:
...We do our best to take images from Web pages that accurately reflect the content of the website....
An arbitrary search for VBA32 yields this:
(What do the images on right have to do with VBA32?)

That's the same kind of results I got when trying to search a few well-known things up.

Yup, getting some odd results over here too. We'll see if this grows up or if it dies in few weeks.
BTW, it lacks languages, and 60% of my searches are in spanish, so back to google.

Not for me yet. I tried it on a number of sites. It found half of them. A couple of forums I've been hanging out in since the mid 90's weren't located.

Another story on it just popped up http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,392021,00.html. If she was good enough that Google bought her technology for its own use back in 04, I wonder what happened here? (yes I know it's brand spanking new, but I don't think enough went into it before releasing it). Right now it's acting more like an alpha.

I like what i'm seeing. Try yahoo and google, similar results.
This however is yielding different results so far.

Thanks for the heads up. Going to add it.

Bigc, can you clarify what you mean by gibberish? Your picture seems to be showing what you were looking for o_O
    TIA :)

The site looks nice and sophisticated. Since the developers were former Google engineers, we'll see how it turns out. But right now, I still like Google better.

To see a truly cool search engine UI, try searchme.com. It takes visual searching to a whole new level, using Apple style coverflow.

Now I just wish these guyys could use the google backend to power their searches.

That is pretty cool. Google should do the same thing (I'm sure it would be easy for them to implement Web 2.0 style).

Good, Google needed competition and it has black interface which I just like.

Has anyone tried Scroogle?, it piggybacks on Google but with total privacy.

What sort of security implications are there in going there?
