:( I have FF installed. I have NoScript (any recommended settings in the Options ?) and am looking at AdBlock Plus.

When I go to download it a warning states it is unsigned....is it safe to use? ( I get a 404 error atm from the FF link in get extensions atm...didnt have that yesterday ??

Do I have to download other stuff to get activex, media player etc working?

I need a secure browser with the option to run web content if I choose to

When I visit http://www.computerandvideogames.com/forums/?site=pcg I get a window popup stating Illegal Operation in Plugin...Windows Media Player Plug in Dynamic Link Library o_O?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
You must allow that site via Noscript to get past that message.
You do not need to download anything extra. Maybe flash plugin at most.

    Huwge,

    In general, when using noscript:

    1. Right-click a blank area of the page you are looking at
    2. Select noscript
    3. Select allow or temporarily allow for each domain listed (for those you are not sure about)

Doing this will usually fix any problems you are having with what appear to be missing programs, etc. (i.e., the programs are probably already installed but because noscript is blocking scripts, the programs are not able to run).
