    Heidi's Eraser (www.heidi.ie)

Just 1 pass zeros is enough.
    Good luck!

Not really. Lots of threads on this over a few of the forums here at Wilders. This one I found interesting and it covers the issues and main software solutions you might want to consider. The OP also links to other interesting threads on the matter and some good links elsewhere throughout. Like most in depth discussions on this issue it gets a bit bogged down on the pro's and cons of Evidence Eliminator but that aside it will hopefully help.

For what it's worth I liked Eraser sand CyberScrub. Seemed to work fine for me. Eraser is also free.

    Cheers

You can do this with Glary Utilities.

(Privacy and Security Module/File Shredder/Wipe Free Space).

I have used it numerous times; no complaints.

The freeware Disk Redactor comes with an installer but is portable. You only need the executable from the installation folder.
