Need Program for cloning a Data HDD

    Also, if you want to make an image of a damaged hard drive R-Drive Image can do just that, where other imaging software stops when there are errors.

    It's not free, but there a fully functional trial version.

    Great tip. That will save me time in the future... i normally backup and re-install everything from scratch when changing to a new hard drive. I´ll try it when i have the chance :)

    There are no problems with the batch file in Reply #22.

    Once the data has been copied to the target partition, Robocopy can synchronize any data added in the source partition. The entire data doesn't have to be copied again. For example, say you add 100 MB of data to the source partition. Run the batch file and a few seconds later that data has been copied to the target partition. You have a mirrored backup in native format.
