Need Help With Spyware Blaster/Spyware Guard

it has only happened in the last couple of months. everytime i go to open spyware blaster. (or spyware guard starts when my computer starts) it is now coming up windows installer (office is trying to install it or install something to do with it) you can hit cancel up to 5 timers before the program actually comes up with the main menu to use its options is there anyway that i can turn it off? is it something to do with the actual spyware programs or is it another stupid thing that is wrong with microsoft. can anyone help me on this because im getting tired of waiting upto 5-10mins before the program can be used.. thanks
