Why do my program tray icons still change places around compared to the last frozen bootup? I thought that it was suppose to revert back exactly like it was before however my Icons trade places all the time. What's up with that in a frozen snapshot? Mind you this only happens during a reboot, not during a session since that can happen naturally if you plug in a usb device etc.

Because it might take a little longer or shorter to load an application that has an icon in your tray on any given startup. Windows puts the icons in the tray in order of the program starting. Freezing can't account for programs not always starting as rapidly as they should. For example, NOD32 takes somewhere between 20 - 40 seconds for the splash screen to disappear and the icon to appear in my tray. If other programs load before that time has elapsed, then the order will change.

I never considered this as a problem. I think the system tray has its own personality.
