I maintain a couple of PCs for family members and want to get them on NOD32. I need to renew my sub in a couple of days and want to buy a 3 user, 2 year sub.

My question is this: can the 3 computers using the license be in different physical locations? Or do all 3 PCs need to be at the same IP address?

    Thanks.

The 3 computers can be anywhere you want. You purchase the number of licenses you need and you can install them on any computer you want.

That's what I figured. I just wanted to make sure as I was buying the multi user bit and not 3 individual licenses. Didn't want to end up with banned licensing because 3 different IP address were requesting AV updates.

So the '3-User Pack' actually provides 3 separate licenses? I thought it would be 1 license with rights for 3 PCs.

Yes, if you purchase the 3-user, 1-year license....You can install it on 3 different machines, regardless of where they are, and they will all be protected and get updates for 1 year.

Excellent. I'll be doing the 2-year one because that really is a good value.

    Thanks for your help.

It is. My 2 year sub is just about up. I'm adding my father & father-in-law because my father hosed his PC the other day using Avast or some other free AV program that just doesn't work well and he caught something that isn't even worth trying to figure out.

So I'll be doing a wipe and a reinstall with NOD32 as his AV.

I'll add my father-in-law, just to keep everything uniform.

Hate having to remember what's installed on which PC. :)
