    I back up to DVD's.

But I also, for convenience, back up to a second hard drive

When I do back up one hard drive to my second hard drive, TI often generates a backup in several "pieces.

When I then do a "Check Image", do I need to check each piece (which seems to work fine) or can I have the entire backup verified at one time?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Hello CWBillow,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please note that most likely Acronis True Image 8.0 splits an image to a several parts because of your second hard drive having FAT16\32 file system.

Please also note that you should keep all parts of the image archive (including incremental images) in one folder, since all of them are the volumes of the entire multivolume image archive.

In this case it does not matter which file you have selected to verify, Acronis True Image 8.0 will verify the whole image.

    Thank you.
