    Hi there...
I'm not sure if I'm in right forum, but my NPF shows something like this:

"A computer with the IP address 83.109.250.19 sent informationa that is characteristic of the MSSQL_Null_Packet_DoS attack"

What should I do!?! Is that serious!?
    thx

    Hi SzpaQ

... and welcome to Wilders :)

Nothing to do or worry about, just the IDS blocking a packet that matches a particular signature. When you see these alerts/pop-ups there is usually a link which will provide more information on that particular signature, or you can also find them listed here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/nis_ids/

    Regards,

    CrazyM
