msjava.dll MISSING IN XP?

    can anybody here give me a direct link to msjava.dll latest verstion for windows xp i have service pack 1

    I'm guessing that's tied in with MS's legal battles with Sun over Java. I think SP1 had to remove the Virtual Machine, or at least disable it, under a court order.

    Check out Sun's Java-2 here -- it should hopefully get everything going again.

    I'm not crazy about the Sun produuct, not nearly as smooth and reliable as the old VM, but it does have one advantage. It has the ability to cache applets, so that return visits to the same game site (or wherever) load a lot faster.
