    Hi. :D

    i was infected with MSBLASTER 10 mins ago :mad: :mad: . and i got that message to shut down pc blah blah. so i restarted and updated NOD32. but then when i scan my PC with NOD32, it finds nothing. anything wrong?

    i also have the MSBlaster Patch Too.

    The removal tool should about cover all the variants. you could also try this one Stinger

    Something I never fully understood is how blaster is still alive? Isnt it like 2 years oldo_O? Just curious.

    dear Brent, its a wonder of mother nature. a lot of systems are still unpatched and unsecure. they provide the breeding ground.

    dear Azn_Tweaker, how do you know its Blaster? from NOD32 alert? next time if you see the shutdown warning just enter this command in the console "shutdown -a". this will stop the shutdown. due to the wide open DCOM door all sorts of worms doesn this trick. sometimes they are not fully downloaded due to system instability or scanner interferance and thats why after restarting the scanner fails to detect any worms. but it doesn't mean you're protected. apply all of those security patches and better you close that stupid port 135 if you're not using it.
