moving data freeze

    Cancel the process. Run a check disk on the volume you are resizing. In command prompt: chkdsk /r I: and defrag.

    Now, I'm not seeing the size of percent usage on the drive, but I assume it's not full and you're not resizing it smaller. If you are expanding the I: partition onto unallocated space, the process should be quick.

    Alternatively, you can create a recovery CD by going to Tools > Recovery Media Builder, and run the task from the CD, outside the OS.
