My HP wireless mouse and keyboard do not work when I boot using the rescue CD or by pressing F11 to load Acronis. However, if I substitute Microsoft non-wireless optical mouse (connected to mouse port through USB converter) and keyboard (connected to keyboard port), they work.

I am using Acronis TI Home v10 buld 4942. Is there any way I can get the HP wireless mouse and keyboard to work after booting from Acronis?

Thanks for the prompt reply. My USB Legacy Mode Support is set to Auto. I could try changing it to Enabled which may enable me to use the wireless keyboard and mouse per your experience. However, I am quite happy with the Microsoft wired keyboard and optical mouse that I have since substituted and I think I will stick with these. The wireless mouse was less accurate and used up batteries quickly.

I agree, generally the best policy is to stick with what your happy with.
I also settled for a corded mouse for the same reason as you although the keyboard has run on the same batteries for well over a year now.
