For fair long time I've used a couple of Moo0's programs, and found them to be pretty good, but just last evening I was checking their site for updates and, at first was pleased to see that they have updated many of their apps a couple of days ago, as seen here: -http://www.moo0.com/-
However, my whole view of their software has now changed when I saw that they are now bundling the ADWARE Autocomplete Pro with many of their apps now, so I'm now dropping using their stuff, and just thought I'd ask if any of you might be able or wishing to comment more about this Adware's implications etc.
Here's a little about Autocomplete Pro, as seen on Malwarebytes forum : https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=44680
Just a thumbs down now for Moo0 from me :thumbd:

I don't know why these companies want to bundle crap people don't want with their software. :(

They need to make some bucks to keep them going in their free sware development. I just wish they'd be more careful and selective with their choices of business partners, I guess.

They aren't the only ones that are guilty of not vetting partners lately. The top brass at some of these companies really need to get a clue.

    Hi All,

Please note that AutoComplete Pro is NOT an adware. The thread posted from Malwarebytes is over a year old, and was a result of misuse of our application by an unauthorized entity.

We work day and night in order to enable a useful, easy and innovative search experience for our users, and we're eager to hear your feedbacks.
If you've spotted AutoComplete Pro being misused by any application or entity please let us know by emailing feedback@autocompletepro.com.

    Thanks,

@ACPro Support : Thank you for your answer here. So, if I understand correctly the advice of WOT, hpHosts, Trend Micro, MalwareDomains and Malwarebytes may be regarded as redundant or inaccurate?...Maybe so, but I'd prefer not to take any chances. I daresay ACP is an optional install also, but that's not the point.
    Cheers. https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/autocompletepro.com + http://www.privacychoice.org/companies/index/283/predictad#
edit #2 : As you quote ThreatExpert, I'm not sure I like what I see here, albeit an older report : http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=622959de013580eb43f9a4a117a1a6ae + http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=24be80341d63336c3f2177ff2a5b38d9

Thanks ACPro Support for your input here. Guess people will have to decide for themselves, like a lot of things.
For myself anyway, I think I'm about as likely at present of changing my attitude to Autocomplete Pro, as I am e.g. to all of a sudden start lauding the "virtues" of ASK, or IObit! :D
