Monitor Problems

    Hi have a problem with my monitor shutting down when ewido starts doing a full system scan. Says that it is not recieving a signal after about 30s and switchs off and will not come on again untill i reboot.It will scan the reg with no probs tho?o_O I also encountered this problem with spy sweeper so i was wondering what i could do about it.Note monitor settings are not to switch off monitor till after 15 minutes. System is amd 64 dual core 4600 2 gig ram gigabyte mob and a geforce 7600 gt silent pipe video card

    Does it also happen with an anti-virus full scan, or a full backup?

    No just happens with the spyware scan. I use avg antivi to so one would think if it was a problem with ewido scanning engine it may turn up with an antivi scan but no.
