Using a Vaio now. I wouldn't suggest it, support is awful and the build quality is poor. Built quality for newer models may be different... but I doubt support is.

Thanks. Good support and build quality are essential. Laptops and similars break at alarming rates.

With the Spec, Price and Google Play, Nexus 10 beats them all.

P.S. As usual Microsoft is always late. Supported Windows OS for Phones/Tablets for five years, with all kinds of promises from Microsoft. Had to move to iPhone/iPad for three years. Now, sold on nothing, but Android. Go Goolge.

    Windows 8 is toooo late.

    Best regards,

Microsoft released tablets long before Apple released iPads and Google its junky Android devices

The only problem I see is Windows based tablets are a little bit expensive. I do know they are full blown Windows and full computer (in addition to the tablet) but , I think, if MS wants to have bigger market share in these devices, they can lower the price a bit.

A genius that doesn't want to elaborate or teach others, right, thanks for your "input".

No it doesn't. Nexus 10 can only run Android apps and next to no Android apps are tablet friendly. Nexus 10 is just a toy in comparison when you consider the scope of what the Surface Pro can do.

The thing I dislike about all the W8 Convertibles is that all of them have, at best, Intel HD 4000 graphics card, which can't play some modern games - even in the lowest possible quality settings. I don't like such unavoidable restrictions. Haswell (Intel HD 5000 graphics card) is supposed to improve things a lot, but not until Q2 or Q3 2013.

Well, tablets are toys so nexus 10 is propably the best toy of them all.(for the specs and price):D

I hardly believe that anyone that will purchase a Surface Pro intends to use it primarly as a tablet; most of the time it will be used as a laptop.
