    Anything for XP.....................seems like a dumb question, but i have been having problems and not sure what is working and what is not... :'(

    I had no option..................i now has IT .............have been avoiding it and all was well..............problems now and i suspect SP2 is part of that.....besides i have a few old programs that i really like, but can not load them with SP2 :mad:

    I am not getting SP2 forced on me; I have automatic updates turned off as well as the automatic updates service disabled. If it somehow gets on my system even with that I am going to be really pissed, although the internet here at my school is so slow it would take a week to download and I would notice it anyway.

    From what i've read on this it's mainly for businesses that had the temporary block installed.

    I, like u, have automatic updates disabled so no chance it'll happen here either.

    I can't explain it here because I don't want people screwing up their systems, but you can fake your system SP#. There is a small registry hack you can do and your system & WinUpdate will think you have that sp. I do not have SP2 installed and I don't plan on installing it.
