I noticed that Microsoft has included Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 in the Windows Updates for May 12. I heard that there were some issues with it when they first put out the update recently. What is your opinion about installing it?

    Thank you.

My opinion is that I downloaded the package and installed it, XP SP3, and no problems noticed so far. (Touch wood.)

Nothing wrong with waiting a few days to see what comes out of the woodwork, if there is anything to come out. And if nothing (or not much) emerges in the way of problems, go ahead and install it.

I have Framework 1.1 and 2.0. That's enough for me.

Why do you want to install Framework 3.5 ? o_O

I had no issues with it in either XP or Vista. Do in image before installing it if you are worried.
