    If you work in a big company, you know how it goes.
    Some big shot farts, everyone calls it perfume and tries to justify.
    Manager, manager, manager, mantra, mantra, mantra.

    If you raise your voice, you're a rebel - you do not adapt to the "culture" and all that nonsense.
    And then, the managers change their tune, and it's as if the old one never happened.

    People continue working, because the pay is so good, and everyone is a prostitute in their hearts.

    Interesting choice of words, and not limited to big companies. I've seen that in small shops, churches, governments, and some open source development groups. Sadly, most of us don't have the luxury of choosing a job that reflects our values. They're just not there or they're already taken.
