MBAM FP on usbview.exe

    MBAM is giving a false positive on the file usbview.exe :

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60.0.1800
    Database version: v2012.01.21.01
    Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86 NTFS
    Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702

    C:\hp\drivers\printers\photosmart\ccc\usbview.exe (Trojan.Dropper) -> No action taken. [ea5ba29164f8fb3b7396275f956beb15]

    This is a very old Microsoft file. MD5 checksum:
    The file C:\hp\drivers\printers\photosmart\ccc\usbview.exe has the following Checksum(s)
    MD5 - 9B4B7E0E0D9D2AD68F1573BA5D644654
    Scanned at VirusTotal: 0 detections

    I've tried to send the developpers log from within MBAM to the MBAM company.

    If I remember me well, you have to read a "Captcha" (or whatever that is called) to get an account at the MBAM forum to report it overthere. Unfortunately my eyes are far too bad to read those things; sorry.
