Hehe, thanks. I don't get around too much these days, but I wanted to keep an eye on this thread since 1.60 is such a major release with so many new features :).

When is this expected to be available to non-Malwarebytes forum members? I know I could easily sign up on there but I like to be signed up on as few sites as possible.

The beta won't be available to non-forum members unfortunately, however we do hope to have the final version released soon as long as all of our testing goes well. I don't have a tentative release date for the final version though (still quite a bit of testing to do).

The scheduler is quite handy if you use it too, and the added command line options are a nice bonus.

Of course, with 1.60, incremental updates + the ability to password protect access to many program settings will be nice for PRO users as well :).

If I had a spare,I would have no problem with that giving one away, beside waiting on income tax to purchase a desktop and 1 laptop before I buy mutiple licenses.I really want a Macbook but prices are still steep IMO.Two pc for the price on one macbook is hard to beat.

Is Malwarebytes 'anti-malware' or like Emsisoft-AM is it classified as 'Anti virus'?

    Hello AaLF:

Its product name indeed reflects its function.

    MBAM is Anti-Malware.

    HTH :)
