    Hello,
I am trying to install Malware Defender on a win 7 64 bit system, after install when i attempt to run program I get"MD failed to load MD driver...." I suspect MD is 32 bit not 64 bit. If so, is there a solution for install and If not can any body recommend an open source hips comprable to MD that will work for me.
    Thank you

Yes it is 32-bit only. You may have to look for firewalls with HIPS or something like Sandboxie.

Ya, but by a single developer, by a company...? If I remember, at the beginning it was an all man program, like SSM at his end.

Xioalin (original developer of Malware Defender)went to work for and also turned over development to "360.cn"
    http://labs.360.cn/malwaredefender/index.html
Development has been slow at best sense the transition.

I have tried to read on their Internet forums on any updates but not much can be found. A few posts online about users testing it on Windows 8 but no news on an update to support it. Surprisingly 360safe only has one page in English here: [URL="http://www.360.cn/about/englishversion.html"http://www.360.cn/about/englishversion.html[/URL]
