    No surprise. There's more PCs, more websites, more people online using more devices, more applications, more infrastructure tied into the web, etc. All the numbers are record highs. Why would malware be any different? They just single out the malware quantity to promote security software.

    They might be millions, but online I haven't had one single hit in more than 3 years. Flash Drives are a different story although lately they also tend to be quite clean.
