Malewarebytees Pro - what do you "actually" get over free version and okay with other AV?

    MBAM is very much okay with another AV. It provides a huge advantage over free. It has realtime protection. ;)

    CRDF does use VirusTotal to do the actual scanning. As a result the problems we are having with the VirusTotal integration at the moment are responsible for these rather bad results. As a rule of thumb: Since we are using the BitDefender engine as one of our engine, our results should be at least as good as the BitDefender results for all on-demand scanning tests like CRDF.

    Wouldn't VirusTotal results be signature only scan - no behavior, heuristics, etc.?

    Correct. All those results shown there are on-demand results only. Any detection issued by any form of real time protection is completely ignored.
