I have set my mail security for exchange (4.3.10016.0) to use a common message quarantine for Spam messages. I have the quarantine mailbox as an additional mailbox in outlook on my client pc so that I can check for any false positives. At the moment we are receiving vast numbers of spam messages containing various trojans which the antivirus on my client pc deals with - and alerts me about. It would appear that the quarantined messages are not scanned for viruses on the Exchange server. This seems daft to me, surely the prime function of the ESET software is to deal with viruses?
    Or have I mis-configured something?

    Phil

In Setup check the following setting:
Server Protection - AntiVirus and Antispyware - Microsoft Exchange Server - Transport Agent

In Options - Action to take if cleaning not possible - Delete Messaeg

I'm guessing it may be set to Quarantine. (Or anti virus checking is not turned on at all o_O )
Having only upgraded from 2.7 last night I'm still figuring it out as well!
