I have created a bootable dvd rom with macrium reflect enviroment 64 bit can i use it to restore a 32 bit os in another machine or for the other machine i need again to create a 32 bit bootable dvd? thnks
BB, the appropriate rescue environment (x86 or x64) is only dependent on the processor architecture of the machine you want to run it on. Either one can restore the others image to a system that is compatible with that image. Meaning, I can use a 32-bit recovery environment, running on a 32-bit or 64-bit processor, to recover a 32-bit or 64-bit imaged OS to that system. But I cannot use a 64-bit recovery environment on a 32-bit processor based platform to restore anything... it can only be used on a 64-bit platform but can restore a 32-bit imaged OS to that platform if you wish. From the above, a 32-bit recovery environment is the most versatile to have.
tHanks you very much for your time. My processor is x86 or x64 compatible so i will use a 64 bit recovery enviroment to recover 32 bit image. Because today panda destroyed one pc with the update... Thnks again.
