I read somewhere on here you can use macrium to just back up specific folders for a quick restore in case you mess up your win install.

I wanted to be sure I read that right and can't find the thread that I read that on previously.

I assume (from memory) that you can specify specific folders for a scheduled backup that you could then restore from without issues.

Did I read that right or am I missing something.

    Thanks

Yes you can back up files and folders, but I would use that mainly for data. IF you mess up your win install, then you would really want an image.

Note, though that you can recover files and folders from the image very easily.
