    @Mrk/yNc,

    How much RAM do you recommend in order to use those 'desktop-enhancers' (so as not to experience any slowdown) over and above what's needed for good LInux performance?

    Hello,

    Nothing special. They run superbly at 512MB RAM - to say nothing of more. It's just themes. Nothing more. Panels are highly customizable in GNOME.

    Regarding XP, you do get an extra process with a docker, but again, nothing special.

    Off topic Mrkvonic, but how does your brother like his Mac? I keep walking into the Apple store in the mall here near my house. I'm drawn in as if by a magnet.
