    Hi

Can you list your favorite sites to download software from? I'm looking for safe malware free sites where i can download the latest software from, like Download.com or Majorgeeks.com. Thanks for your help.

Major Geeks is the place. They don't like spyware and have a forum as well.

Nick ADSL UK is a big reason Major Geeks is a good place.

I also like to look at Webattack.com to see what's new.

    1st:Major Geeks.
    Then probably Snapfiles(formerly WebAttack.com).
    Sofotex.com is good also.

I usually like to get my software from the developer's site, but MajorGeeks is also good. Some of the software that i use is hosted by sourceforge so i go there too.

    Hey rock-n-roll,

    www.caiman.us/

    and

    www.pricelesswarehome.org/

the latter produces the results, as consensussed
by the members of Google - Groups - Alt.comp.freeware, which you might
find worth while for discussion of the best freeware available.

    Regards.

    Wouldn't YOU like to know?
I'll also say majorgeeks and download.com, but about past favourites like simtel.net - I think they were bought over by Speedbit (DAP guys) and their content went down. I guess tucows.com still has a lot of credibilty left.
BUT - I'd say GOOGLE is always the best place if u know what u want. Now I don't ned to go to any other site - google is like a giant web central station for me, switching me to a lotta stuff.

MajorGeeks and Snapfiles here. Sometimes I visit http://sourceforge.net/
I only visit that site to look at source codes being that I'm a beginer programmer.
