I suggest you read the Release Notes for Mint 11. There's quite a few bugs listed that you should be aware of, IMHO. I'm downloading the 32 bit no-codec version as we speak.

    Later....

Still don't know how he gets the accepted norm of 8 hrs. shuteye. Then there is WORK as well.

    Being optimized is the key.
I hack kernels and I hack myself.

^meaning you're already onto it, right? wink

True, the number of the so-called known issues is kinda perplexing,
Still, I haven't been as excited since the rel of Mint 10.

finished downloading... here we go again :)

1st noticed that even though I moved to VB 4 I still get this error that's supposed to be corrected by this fix /not tested/:
    http://finster.co.uk/2010/11/16/virtualbox-piix4_smbus-error/

No Opera 11.11 in Software Manager, only 11.10.

Ubuntu 11.04 with extras and a good deal of TLC.

We'll see if LM adopts Unity once Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot 11.10 comes out in the fall.

To update from Linux Mint 10 to Linux Mint 11 do you have to do a clean install or will the update come as a normal update later?

    Thanks in Advance.

You can update Linux Mint from within your existing LM installation. If Software Sources is set to normal release, after you do all the updates, you should then be offered an upgrade to the new version.
