Learning how to remove spyware

    The below log is my computer. I have a customer's PC that is loaded with spyWare. Want to learn on my computer before I go to the cusomers PC.

    A good idea ;)

    Your log is clean BTW, good job

    You can cehck for a fair amount of known malware startup entries in HijackThis logs here :

    PacMan's Startuplist

    You can crosscheck the startup entries through the searchbox. Watch out for spaces when you do a search for an entry. For instance loadqm.exe with a space behind it wont work, you have to make sure the cursor is ruight behind the e from exe. Dunno why that is. But otherwise it wont find the entry. Also do a search without the exe to check up.

    There is a HijackThis log tutorial also, but the page is down atm, due to some problems :(

    maybe someone else can post another link concerning that tutorial. I don't know if any other sites are mirroring it.
