Using KIS 7, what active antispyware would you recomend, AVG, SAS something else or is it even needed. Hi Jerry.;)

    Hi Jeff,
You know more about this than I do, but I have used active without problems, even at the same time. Mostly I do not use either as active, although right now I have SAS as active. Not sure why.

    Regards,
    Jerry

AVG is a good choice on demand. Also SAS is my favourite

USA still the best. But barely.
Nothing AS as resident. On demand take your pick.

You can disable real time protection.

    Kaspersky's signatures... sort-of-effective against spyware/adware.
    Kaspersky's signatures + PDM... v.effective against spyware/adware

Just incase though, allways safe to have a backup-or-two... I run AVG-AS and SAS on-demand once every few months... only ever discovered tracking cookies though... Better to be safe than sorry still! :)

I run SAS Pro in real-time w/ KIS 7.0 on my other pc since it has virtually zero impact on performance. KIS quarantined superantispyware.exe as a "hidden data sending" risk so you need to add it to the trusted zone
