    Hello,
I just got notification that there are updates from Microsoft for my Win7 Pro install; one "important" and three "optional".

One of the optional updates is KB2952664, which I believe "snoops" your install sending info back to MS indicating if your software would be compatible with an upgrade to Win10 (at least that's my interpretation . . .). No thanks.

The "important" update (KB3035583) carries no real explanation except to say: "This update enables additional capabilities for Windows Update notifications when new updates are available to the user. It applies to a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). Before you install this update, check out the Prerequisites section."

Hmmm . . . what the heck does that tell me?

    Any insight is appreciated.
    Thanks ahead of time and
    Regards,
    Bob
