KAV

    Hey guys,

    Just a quick question out of curiousity, how does KAV stand to AT in comparisons? I know its no TDS...but does anyone have any stats thats i can look at?

    I know it has seen things that TrojanHunter hasn't, and I don't remember much that was picked up by TH and not KAV.

    kav is very good against trojans, not perfect though, what anti trojans have is specialised detection techniques, not found in any av's: like continuous real time process memory scanning, registry scans, trojan port scans..
    even more, anti trojans have special ways to clean trojans, especially the dll injectors..

    Yes, for those reasons, I use TrojanHunter even though I have KAV.
