Kaspersky source code leaked ?

    It's unlikely anyone from here would give you that info even if they knew it. The "claims" were made in 2009 and were related to one of their 2009 products; they have a 2011 line of security programs now so even if it was true, it's kinda moot. Besides if the source code was available to download, why have we not heard of mass hacking attempts against KL products? ;)

    Hi!

    Kaspersky 2009 and 2011 aren't very diff product.

    But in the old post, hackers "trying sell" the source code. I dont know if this is true, maybe yes :)

    They are actually quite different since 2009 (version 7), main engine has been completely re-designed, signature changed, heuristics re-designed... + all new features (e.g. sandbox)

    So overall very different... :)
