The latest update seems to fix a minor issue. I guess as long as it makes an error free copy, the progress bar of how long it takes is not that important. ;)

    Thanks ronjor

I never dreamed Karen would still be developing after all this time. Her crafts have been Brilliant, maybe not in the limelight like many, but still are very worthy and concientious efforts she's obviously finally getting some deserved attention with.

    Thanks Ronjor,
I'm using it at this moment and planning to keep it as backup for my data partition. I'm still testing/checking it, but couldn't break it until now. :)

This is good news, this is also a program I intend to test with a view to adding it for data backup.

Nice to hear. I'm interested in this backup-tool and will test it when I can find time for it. Please let us know if it meet your needs. I also seperate data and os-partition the way you do it, and backup to an external hd.

I'm also interested in SyncBack Free, but dont know if it is as good as Karen's Replicator.

Although I have other softwares, Karen's replicator I count as a backbone really, solid, reliable, simple to use and free.

Just press a button and it updates all my docs and settings to my external, done in a minute.

Say that again. I experienced this myself, since I use KR. :)

Have KR installed and working well so far, quite impressed with its no nonsense functionality and simplicity. Noe if only my external drive can be trusted to be as reliable.

I installed the new version over the existing version without any problems and it kept its settings and I checked "About" to see if the version was really changed and it was.

I still can't break it : everything is OK until now : adding new files, deleted files, renamed files, the same with folders, even deleting and replacing a file with the same name was done properly.
    So no errors whatsoever. :)

Thanks for confirming it, it's always good to hear a second opinion.
