    I have a 3 year / 3 user license for ESS

    I just formatted my laptop

I am confused on what to install

1- You recommend I install ESS? or just NOD32 with the Windows Firewall? (I don't want any slow down when it comes to internet browsing)

2- ESS or NOD32 v4 or v5 or the RC v6? I heard the RC has bugs? I also know that v4 is snappier than v5?

    I am confused, please advice

    Hello berryracer,

If you don't need parental control. You can use your ESS license key to install NOD Antvirus v5. You are safe by using the built-in firewall of windows.

I recommend version 5 because of the implementation of HIPS, cloud protection ESET Grid, HIPS protection.

    Regards
    Niels

I prefer Nod32 and the Windows firewall, and version 4 of Nod32 because it feels just a bit faster and it is compatible with the Firefox/Sandboxie combination, while version 5 can cause BSODs.

Eset AntiVirus V5 and use windows firewall and add on Hitman Pro for super quick OD Scans.
