I try to refresh my computer. Update programs etc....

I installed new version of Java. Downloaded from Java.com. But now I can not log into my bank. I hate Java.

No, but when I go to the official site and click "Download Java for Consumers" I get redirected to java.com. So there should be no difference.

    I also get this:

    Verified Java Version
    Congratulations!
You have the recommended Java installed (Version 7 Update 7).

Both computers fail to get to your bank? Clear your cache in Firefox also.

Clear cache in FF did not help.

I believe the problem is only on my desktop. Tomorrow I will try the laptop. Late now. Have to sleep. Thanks for trying to help me. Tomorrow I sure will find a solution.....I hope:)

    Problem resolved!

I removed Java from Control Panel. Then I deleted all Java and Sun folders I could find in Documents and Settings and its subfolders. Ran CCleaner. Restart computer. Downloaded and installed Java.

The only difference from what I had already tried was that I found a few more folders to delete. Must have been one of these folders that caused the problem.

    It works now:)
