the installation and use of FierFox, and your thoughts...?

I'd suggest going with a pure default install, get use to the program for a while, then start to deal with plug-ins and configuration.

I fully agree with BlueZannetti. Don't do it all at once. Get used to Firefox first.

Thanks Guy's for your replys, So get the default install First, the things i was wondering about were if there are any security plug-in's you may have to do right away after first installing FireFox, ive seen.... this ....Firefox 1.5 -With No Scripts and SpoofStick extensions, which I think may be to do with security ..?

    Thanks ......Mypenry

With NoScript it is possible to allow javascript on a website on a selective basis.

Start with going through the many settings of Firefox.
Click on Tools / Options and start from there.
If you have questions, just ask. We have alot of Firefox users at Wilders.

noscript stops all javascript (and optonally flash, java, and other plugins) then allows you to make a whitelist of sites.

    spoofstick is an antiphishing toolbar.

once you are better aquainted with Fx, u can try (security related) extensions like: SiteAdvisor, Pop-Up Blocker Settings, Permit Cookies, and many more.
