    hi all,

i just scan my pc with trend micro free online scan and got this virus called 'bat sasser.a', is this a new virus, because my norton antivirus which i just updated couldn't detect it

trend micro doesn't offer me any idea how to tackle the virus, and i am glad to find that panda helped me to settle it :D

i would just like to know if there is any side effect left? i mean like do i need to do something to the register and others? or will the virus come back to my pc again??

    cheers cheers..
thanks to panda, down to norton..

    Panda:

These variants attempt to exploit the LSASS vulnerability.

If they succeed in exploiting such vulnerability, they create and run the script CMD.FTP. This script downloads the worm via FTP.

Do you have ALL critical Microsoft patches??
