Is there no pending area for the submited sample in version 5?

there is no bottom to submit the sample in the pending area after the Live Grid was born.

I tried to submit a sample in the context menu. but no log for it and no submit bottom for me to send it menually now.

The issue is I don't know whether the sample reach the lab or not.

 

Maybe in the next signature will be submitted

 

what if this is urgent. they can't make them submited after update every time.

 

My test file was submitted immediately - a blue-white bubble appeared in the right-hand corner of my desktop telling that "File 'c:\test.exe' was sent to ESET for analysis." and the following message was logged in the Event log: "13.09.2011 4:03:33 PM ESET Kernel File 'c:\test.exe' was sent to ESET for analysis." Make sure that you have file submission in the ESET Live Grid setup enabled.

I don't have it every time since version 2. it depends on my luck.

I think you can setup a progress bar to show the upload status. much more easy to know the situation.

 

Yes, just made a test with another file and a bubble with a confirmation appeared immediately after selecting the file for submission and filling in the form.

 

Sample submit trough context menu should upload the sample immediately and without asking for approval.

 

when I submit another file, I notice that the wifi light is twincle. I believ the file is submiting but no comfirmed message.

Have you disabled notifications, or the cloud?
Using game mode?
You can always restore the settings to default

 

Always using the Default setting. no gaming.
Does it relate to the network connection because speed and connection is different from place to place.
