Is the number of entries restricted to 250(protection) re applications?

I got a message re applications saying about the number being restricted to 250. I deleted a few .tmp entries and then was able to add application...

I don't have a great computer knowledge so may have made a mistake.

Any advice appreciated...

Yes there (was/is?) a limit to the protection list,have a look at this thread mate.

It was mentioned that the limit might be increased in a later version,don't know if it's been implemented yet.

I guess that I will have to look at what processes to remove if needed. I have a lot of software installed. I removed entries from .tmp which are probably one offs. The problem is most of those left now seem relevant

It would be nice to see that figure of 250 increased in a later build if enough people are experiencing similar.....................Howard
