Is it ok to delete the log text in PG?

    Hi there:)

    1.) I was wondering if it is ok after a period of time to delete the logfile.txt in alerts/view logs?

    2.) If so do you recommend deleting the log file itself or just the content inside the logfile, as I would want a new logfile to be created?

    Hi Zoril.

    Yes it's fine deleting the log file (unless there's some info in there that you'd like to keep). I just delete the whole thing as part of my maintenance regime,PG will just create a new one.
