is it a virus that destroys my network connection?

    I have just installed nod 32. before that i had norton. but i think that during the short time that i did not have an antivirus program, something infected my computer.
    ow it seems like my internet (broadbad) connection have stopped working. i cant conect in any way to the internet. since i cant do that, i cant update my virus definitions. could this have something to do with a virus?

    Can you "Slave" your hard drive off a clean antivirus protected, virus free system and run a scan that way?

    Try going into "IMON" => Setup => Miscellaneous. Click on "Repair now". You will likely be asked to reboot.

    If that doesn't help, I would suggest that your uninstall of Norton left behind traces that are affecting ISP and DNS settings. This post may help a lot:
