Everytime I update the TDS databases, PG nearly always informs that dcsmutex.exe has changed.

The timestamp has changed so I assume it has been updated during the update of the databases. I just want to check that this is correct ?

Another question I've got is that PG refers to dcsmutex.exe, but there only appears to be a dll file dcsmutex.dll. There is also a Pre-fetch file which refers to dcsmutex.exe. Is there really a dcsmutex.exe ? What's going on ?

Hi Defenestration, DCSmutex is updated regularly as part of the updates and requires that you re-permit it in ProcessGuard's Execution Protection.

[EXECUTION] "c:\tds3\dcsmutex.exe" was allowed to run
    [EXECUTION] Started by "c:\tds3\tds-3.exe" [3264]

DCSmutex.exe will contains the new .dll I guess it is hidden within the radius file.

    Thanks Pilli!

I've done a full search of my PC and there is no dcsmutex.exe file, only a dcsmutex.dll file. How can I find dcsmutex.exe ?

I've enjoyed our recent conversations, and have been impressed by your dedication to the Wilders Forum. Are they paying you... ? Well.... they should be! (you cheapskates!) If they won't pay you.... have a couple of pints of ordinary on me buddy... :D

Again, a bit OT (I keep on being naughty in this respect :p Please don't ban me ) but I've always wondered how the owners of the forum (Wilders ) can afford to keep it running. Where do they get their money from ?

PS. The phantom smiley ghoul intercepted my post before it got sent, hence the excessive :D count.  :D :) ;) :p :D    o_O :(

PPS. From the phantom - "I got so carried away that I had to reduce the number of smileys in this post due to the forum not allowing them all!". Please forgive me...

If you look in the light blue link in my signature you see how is the situation in the first posting, which counts for Pilli as well.
