First, the thread is in no way a comparision of the 2 AVs, but more of how Eset went from A to Z very quickly and still remains at or near the top of products. Others have tried to follow in Esets steps but have miserably failed. Kaspersky, chkdsk. So my question is, with the new features, regardless of my thoughts on placement, you have to admit they have come a long way quick. Do you think they have the same potential to do what Eset has done?

Hopefully at the end of the day We can simply agree to dis-agree but in our humble opinion this would most certainly turn into a this AV(Avira) vs that AV(Eset).

Having said that....this thread is closed for the reasons mentioned in our Antivirus Section-General Policy Statement

    Regards,
    Bubba
