Is A-squared effective and light?

    A friend of mine wishes to buy a-squared full. Some question.
    - Is a-squared efficient?
    - Is the shield light in mem and cpu impact?

    its good but the full system scan takes a LONG LONG time

    May I ask what system and scan settings are you using? What other applications are running while scanning?

    The current version of the guard is quite heavy when it comes to memory consumption. While the IDS only takes a few dozen KBs of memory, the whole signature database is quite huge. We are currently working on that problem.
