    Thanks for posting. I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere.

    Hmm... anonymity vs privacy.
    Rather than peering, I'll stick with:
    Mumble client + localhost murmur server
    (see sourceforge.net)
    enables encrypted point-to-point VoIP (+typechat+fileXfer) without involving a remote server.
    Versions are available for both Windows and for Linux.

    ^------ In this scenario, you can choose the port.
    A peered scenario introduces latency, and all clients need to use the same port (or port range) eh?
